"My Mac ran out of battery abruptly (shut off without warning) and when I rebooted, mail.app acts like it wants to start fresh and doesn't know about any existing accounts. The ~/Library/Mail folder is still there. I have a CrashPlan backup of that folder as well. I tried restoring the entire folder from CrashPlan with the same result in Mail.app (asks for account setup when run). I've tried restoring older versions of com.apple.mail.plist from before the crash with no effect. Which other files can I try restoring to get things back working again?" MacInTouch 1:12 PM
