Intel has announced the availability of a new Iris and HD Graphics packages, namely version 20.19.15.4424, which removes the bug that prevented screen rotating in full screen on certain DX9 apps, and fixes several issues with some games.

Specifically speaking, this driver fixes lighting and corruptions in Final Fantasy XIII, black screens after starting Wolfenstein The Old Blood, as well as graphics corruptions spotted in Sonic Adventure 2, Battlefield 4, Rage, The Witcher 3, CREO 3 SSAO test, and other games or apps.

In addition to that, BSODs, crashes, and hangs won’t be encountered while playing Minecraft, Dying Light, Grand Theft Auto V, Fallout 4, Forza, and other games, Windows 10 will boot without problems after Windows Update, and a few other fixes will be added as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

Regarding compatibility, Intel’s update is suitable for both 32- and 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8.1, and 10 operating systems. We don’t recommend, installing it on other OSes, as this might lead to malfunctions.

However, your configuration must also include a Core M and Xeon processors (E3-1500M v5 family), or 6th, 5th, or 4th Generation Intel Core Processors with certain Intel HD Graphics chipsets.

With this in mind, make sure your configurations is valid, download Intel Iris/HD Graphics Driver 20.19.15.4424, apply it, and constantly check our website to stay “updated one minute ago.”
