This is a first for me: handmade leather Lightning charging cables for iOS devices. This is a project called Esbee Cables being launched on Kickstarter, and it's already surpassed its funding goal of US$15,000. The company has obtained MFi certification from Apple, and is using the money to ramp up production. The video (below) is a tad cheesy, but the product looks great—and a leather-clad charging cable is a compelling idea. There are funding options that will get you a cable starting at $24 and $26 dollars. Check it out.
