Nvidia releases GeForce 355.82 WHQL drivers for Windows 10

Nvidia has rolled out yet another WHQL driver update specifically targeted at Windows 10 systems.

As with almost all incremental driver updates from Nvidia, these also offer improved game play, with the driver description stating:

“The latest GeForce Game Ready driver, release 355.82 WHQL, ensures you’ll have the best possible gaming experience for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Mad Max,”

In addition, a new “Debug” mode has been added into this driver; by selecting this mode, the driver will restore the clock speeds of your graphics cards to the Nvidia reference clock speeds. However, this mode will not work if your graphics card shipped with reference clock speeds. The debug mode will be useful for anyone looking to resolve issues following overclocks, and subsequent issues that may have arisen from doing so.

If you have had issues relating to the display driver while upgrading to Windows 10, you may want to give it another shot with the new driver, since this is now the second WHQL driver now released that is specific to the OS.

You can grab either the 32 or 64-bit drivers at the links below.
