Forget the colors, add transparency effects

Transparency has quickly become one of the most requested features for Windows 10, and despite Microsoft's new customization options, this little tweak has only been introduced in a few places in the new OS, such as the Start menu and the action center, where it exists alongside the blur effect effect.

And yet, users want more transparency across the operating system in order to improve its overall UI, and one of the features that should get is the live tiles.

A post in the Windows Feedback app calls for Microsoft to allow users to add transparency tiles to the Start menu, which should really bring a nice visual touch to the new OS. The Start menu has received a significant makeover in Windows 10, so adding transparency would only continue Microsoft's evolution towards a better looking platform.

The very same live tiles with transparency would also fit the Start screen a lot better, as some Windows 10 adopters still like the screen more than the Start menu.

As usual, Microsoft hasn't commented on the possibility of adding transparency to Start menu/Start screen live tiles, but with new updates being released on a regular basis, more such tweaks could be implemented at any given moment.

In the meantime, if you really want this feature in Windows 10, you can upvote it in the Feedback app because the bigger number of votes, the more chances to see it implemented.
