Microsoft is releasing back to back builds of its latest and most awaited OS, Windows 10. Just after the release of Build 10158 on 29th June, which included Microsoft Edge browser and updates to Cortana, Microsoft again released Build 10159.

Gabe Aul wrote in the Windows blog, “We’d been using 10158 for almost a week and knew it was going to be a strong build, and the data backed that up so we released it yesterday.” Build 10159 has been released in the Windows Insider Fast ring. According to the Windows blog, it’s primarily a bug fix update. The company claims that the new build will fix over 300 bugs.

In this release, the tech giant also included the new wallpaper that will be the identifying image which will symbolize the latest OS. As reported in Neowin, this release Microsoft updated the login screen as well. The updated login screen will now support the Hero image. Choosing the image for the default wallpaper was a game changing decision for Microsoft.

The users can pick the newly created Windows 10 wallpaper in the settings, as well as select secondary colors to be picked from the image that the user have as their wallpaper. The company even uploaded a new YouTube video to showcase the entire creation process for the Hero desktop image. The video show that it is a real image and no image editing tools have been used. The team used lasers, fog, LEDs, and the Windows logo to create the wallpaper image.

The Windows blog states: “If you’re actively downloading 10158 when 10159 is published, you may get an error 0x80246017. If that happens, just reboot your PC, go back to Settings and check again and you should see 10159 offered to you”.
