Gabe Aul says that no new builds will be launched this week

Microsoft has already confirmed that it's internally testing Windows 10 build 10130, so everyone hoped to see this version going live to insiders these days, especially because we're getting closer to the moment when the new operating system reaches RTM and no other updates are released.

But according to Gabriel Aul, head of the Windows Insider Program, no new builds will be released this week because work on 10130 continues right now and it's not ready for a public launch.

In a post on Twitter, Aul has explained that Microsoft insiders are still testing 10130 and they're still working to fix bugs, so shipping it to insiders is not an option this week. It remains to be seen if build 10130 will be ready next week, but we're pretty sure that Microsoft will accelerate its work to provide users with an updated build as fast as possible.

“Don't expect 10130 this week, it is still in OSG Fast ring and hasn't gone to OSG Slow yet,” Aul has added, pointing out that, until this build becomes available to company testers in the slow ring, it's impossible to see it released to users.

No Windows 10 Mobile build either

So if no PC build is released this week, what about Windows 10 Mobile? you might ask. Well, Aul has said that no Windows 10 Mobile build will be released either because the company's testers have come across some bugs in the latest builds, which need to be fixed before a public release.

Work on the next Windows 10 Mobile build advances at a good pace, Aul confirms, but “one or two blockers” hold back the release for the time being.

Windows 10 for PCs is projected to reach RTM sometime in June or July, while general availability is planned for late July or August. The phone version will take longer to reach the market, and some sources claim that Microsoft is targeting October as the possible release date.
