Hewlett-Packard Co. posted fourth- quarter declines in its printing, services and enterprise divisions, underscoring the challenges for both sides of the computer maker’s business as it prepares to split in two.
The company’s personal-systems group was the only division that grew in the period that ended Oct. 31. Total sales fell 2.5 percent to $28.4 billion, the Palo Alto, California-based company said yesterday in a statement. That fell short of analysts’ average projection for revenue of $28.8 billion, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
