Apple today has released an update to OS X Yosemite’s official Mail application via Software Update in the Mac App Store. It’s available for both developers and customers on the public beta. Apple says that the update fixes an issue related to users being unable to compose messages. It’s interesting that Apple issued this update as a standalone fix versus an entirely new developer preview. Apple released new developer and public betas for Yosemite last week. The final OS is expected to ship in late October.

I really hope this update fixes new mail syncing. Mavericks Mail was broken until 10.9.2 (or .3 — don’t remember) and now the Public Beta of Yosemite is having the same new mail issues that the early builds of Mavericks had. It’s weird that they keep breaking Mail with each 10.X revision.
Man they were quick on this, I had this problem yesterday and reported it as urgent, good job Apple !
It is possible the reason they released it as a separate fix because there won’t be any more DPs or PBs. The next one will be GM in a 3-4 weeks away.
I sent this report to them suggesting the cause of the problem (image presence in the email engager…)
and they fixed it immediately!

I couldn’t work at all.
Everything was freezing and I was in big trouble.
I FOUND THE SOLUTION! I deactivated the email signature wich was including a company logo.
Now everything is working.
The problem was the signature please fix it ASAP
