Apple Shows the Personal Side of the MacBook Air in New Stickers Ad

Apple premiered a new commercial for the MacBook Air on Monday that shows off the light weight laptop as something personal instead of a piece of hardware by by highlighting the decals and stickers people put on their computer. Just like Apple's iPhone and iPad ads, the new "Stickers" commercial stays away from hardware specs and technical details, and doesn't even mention the MacBook Air name until the last couple seconds of the ad.

The commercial includes dozens of shots showing the MacBook Air lid adorned with pop culture decals of Homer Simpson, Hello Kitty, Wonder Woman, Batman, Pac-Man, and more. It also includes shots of decals highlighting the backlit Apple logo and even shows the logo covered with the old-school rainbow logo apple.

The point of the commercial is to show that the MacBook Air is a part of our lives and not just another laptop -- an expression of who we are. You can check out the commercial at the Apple website.
