Almost overwhelmingly varied, That's My Bag is quite the challenge despite its cute and simple concept.

Matching games have been around in many different guises over the years. That's My Bag aims to be a little different by offering more than just matching prowess.

Players control Captain Octopus as he delivers baggage to various Sea Friends waiting by the shore. Yup, it's quite cute with various 2D creatures standing around waiting for their luggage to show up. A carousel directs the luggage around, with players having to grab the right bag and drag it to the correct owner. As well as that, they must ward off the approaching pirates who are out to grab bags from unsuspecting sea creatures.

It's a somewhat tricky mix of game types, especially during the Classic Mode. Keeping track of the many different bag types requires effort in itself, but then there's the peril of trying to keep those waiting satisfied (by throwing candies at them), as well as keeping the lizard pirates away. Throwing in even more things to consider, the pirates can only be shooed away if Captain Octopus has enough black ink to spare. This can be replenished by hammering on his face in order to restore the ink levels. That amount of things combined, as well as the increasing speed of the conveyor belt, means things can get pretty frantic and tough, only a few levels in. That's before even unlocking the expert mode!

What's somewhat more satisfying is Blitz mode which is focused on solely matching bags, and gaining a high score through a series of multipliers. It's simple to dive into for a minute and more immediately enjoyable and less stressful than the Classic mode.

Keeping it cute and non-violent suggests that That's My Bag is ideal for family gamers, but I'm not so sure. Perhaps with a difficulty tweak or two, it'd be more welcoming for such a market. As it stands, it's a slightly mismatched cute yet tough fast-paced title.
