Gogobot adds shared trip planning to its social travel booking service on iOS, Android and the Web

Gogobot adds shared trip planning to its social travel booking service on iOS, Android and the Web

Shared trip planning has just been added to travel and location-based recommendation tool Gogobot, allowing multiple users to plan and organize their next international adventure together.

In practice, it’s almost identical to sharing a folder or document through a cloud-based storage solution such as Dropbox or Google Drive. Users can now invite their friends from within the iOS, Android or Web app to join the trip and contribute with their own ideas.

Whenever one of the travelers revises the plan, everyone else is notified – and there’s also room to add comments beneath any chosen place or trip detail. Admittedly, it’s not going to sidestep all of the headaches that come with organizing a group trip – but it should accelerate the speed at which a final agenda can be agreed upon.
