Blackjack Royale Review

Playing a quality game of Blackjack, albeit a relatively quiet one, Blackjack Royale is a fine addition for the card playing fan. It's easy to get into and similarly easy to lose free time to.

The game throws one straight into a game and that's a trend that continues whenever one logs in. It never takes any length of time to find some competition. Even early in the morning, I found others joining my table to compete. Not that it makes a huge difference, admittedly, as the socializing is a little limited. It's possible to send emoticons to other players, either suggesting whether they should hit or stand next, or simply just smile or cheer at them. Text chat isn't catered for so smack talk or general conversation isn't possible.

Instead, Blackjack Royale is focused on the card playing. It's simple to do with no bells and whistles, just a matter of tapping on the relevant buttons. It's quick too, with auto moves switched on for those who take too long to choose what to do. Throughout, it's straight-forward to respond from upping bets to splitting or doubling.

Besides there being regular hot streaks to increase the amount won, plus hourly bonuses, there's a leveling up system that further rewards players with even more chips. Eventually hit the million dollar mark, and an exclusive section of the game opens up to the virtual rich. There's a stats section, too, giving brief insight into how one is playing so far.

Blackjack Royale ticks all the relevant boxes that one could want from a card game. It's a shame there's no chat, and a Game Center leaderboard would have been welcomed, but this is still a fine game of Blackjack.
