NFL Pro Football Updated: Adds 2014 Season, Superbowl And More

August 8, 2013
Gameloft's NFL Pro Football has just received a huge update adding the 2014 season and Super Bowl, 200 new plays, the ability to invite friends and compete using Facebook, and enhanced graphics. As such, with no new Madden app yet available, Gameloft's application (which is now called NFL Pro 2014) is the only football iOS game updated accordingly for the new season. That being said, it would appear that the developer-publisher still hasn't secured the rights to players' names, meaning iDevice owners won't be able to play as their favorite all-stars or rookies. Changes made in version 1.5.0 of the app are outlined by Gameloft in NFL Pro's release notes:
  • Lead your team through exhibition and season matches all the way to victory at the 2014 Super Bowl!
  • Invite your friends to join the fun and compete for the top spot on the Facebook Leaderboard
  • Enjoy better graphics for more realism
  • Choose from 200 plays that you can now permanently learn or edit in Play Management.
Below, we've included a trailer video for the updated application. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXOER9Q_O0w&feature=player_embedded
