Macworld Expo reschedules for March 2014

IDG World Expo announced Tuesday it is rescheduling its Macworld/iWord conference for the end of March next year. It was scheduled to run February 1-3 in 2014 and will instead be held March 27-29. The change goes from an odd Saturday through Monday show to a more travel friendly Friday - Sunday. Plus, it won't be held during the Super Bowl.

The later date too should help media and industry people wishing to also attend CES. The iLounge area itself has grown into significant presence for iOS and OS X products. Scheduled just weeks after CES can be difficult on both exhibitors and attendees. The later date should make it easier for people to hit both shows, plus less a chance of weather issues while traveling.
