It's a little too safe in its interpretation of Chillingo's Madcoaster, but kids and Peanut fans will still enjoy what's here.

Deeply reminiscent of last year's Madcoaster to the point that it feels like a reskinned version, Snoopy Coaster is pleasant fun but it is a tad easy for many players.

Players control a roller coaster cart full of everyone's favorite Peanut characters, as they traverse many familiar locations from the comic strip. Controls are a matter of tapping on the screen to jump to a different track, while swiping to move between nearby lanes. It's as simple as that and Snoopy Coaster rarely requires much thought. Presented with a number of lives to keep one going for longer, this is a very forgiving Endless Runner.

Unlike Madcoaster, Snoopy Coaster comes with the ability to swipe a circle on screen in order to stay on the loop to loops for longer, as well as the chance to spin round double loops. Otherwise, though, it's a quite similar experience. There are numerous coins to collect as Snoopy makes his way through the various backdrops, with coins able to buy upgrades that are more expansions on existing power-ups than anything substantial. Trading cards and collectibles can be acquired too, giving the player extra Peanuts themed content to peruse.

It's this use of the ever popular Peanuts name that makes Snoopy Coaster more appealing. Throughout the sessions, many of the Peanuts characters chip in with comments or opinions on the player's ability and, while they repeat after a time, it'll charm younger players. Younger players clearly being the key market for this game. It's all too easy to play for a fairly long time for the avid adult gamer, but kids will enjoy this gentle introduction to the genre.

Given its hefty links to Madcoaster, some may be put off buying the same game again but for those who have yet to play the original, Snoopy Coaster is suitably fun if simple.
