ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--McKesson Corporation today announced the launch of Medisoft Mobile, a no-fee application for the iPad® and iPhone® that’s now available for download from the Apple App Store. Designed for use on the newly-released Medisoft® V18, Medisoft Mobile offers a seamless integration of mobile computing technology and practice management systems, delivering the flexibility and accessibility today’s providers want.
According to a Manhattan Research study, physician adoption of tablets for professional purposes doubled between 2011 and 2012, with half using them at the point-of-care. The rapid adoption of devices among providers is driving demand for applications that can help streamline patient encounters and enhance quality of care.
