Cloudier: This simple CloudApp client for iPhone makes mobile file sharing effortless

Those who’ve found CloudApp, or a service like it (such as Droplr), already know how helpful it can be to have easy screenshot and file sharing built into your menu bar.

Cloudier, a simple CloudApp client for iPhone, takes this idea a step further, making the act of sharing files across various devices significantly easier.

Built by designer Jackie Tran and developer Benjamin Mayo, Cloudier ($2.99) mirrors the simplicity of CloudApp. It allows users to upload images, videos, text and bookmarks (aka URLs), as shown in the video below:

Of course, you can access files which have been shared on your Mac too, including zipped files, audio and “other.” Cloudier also features pleasant-yet-subtle design details, including the way the app’s file upload button (a “+” sign) tilts to an “x” to let users close the menu.

All in all, Cloudier extends the usefulness of CloudApp for existing users, but also arguably adds to the appeal of the original service.

Tran tells us the app will also soon be available on the iPad. Given that CloudApp is only available for Macs, we’re betting an Android client wont be available any time soon.
