In an article written yesterday by senior technology analyst Eric Bleeker, he discussed a new project announced by the Turkish government. The project, called F@tih, is a plan for the country to purchase 18 million tablet devices for use by students, teachers, and administrators to aid in the education process. In this video, Eric tells us why this could be an incredible turning point in accelerating the trend away from PCs. After all, this may well be a generation of students skipping the PC entirely and operating solely on mobile devices. He also tells us that if this is successful in Turkey, it could be something seen soon in countries all over the world.
