See, that’s what the app is perfect for.

Sounds perfect Wahhhh, I don’t wanna

The iOS ecosystem just works. Other operating systems take up more effort.

When I was testing Windows Phone a week or two ago that one thing that struck me was the process in which you had to do things or perform tasks. With my iPhone and iPad if I want to send a tweet or check email it’s all very much a one process operation. I don’t need to think too much about it, the process is easy I just perform the task that is needed. This is why I like the Apple ecosystem because I do not have to think about processes when I want something to work.

Take this editorial as an example, now I’m dictating this however when I tried this on the Windows Phone last week it had not transcribed that words accurately. I had to stop the recording and check the wording was correct. Now this takes up valuable time especially when I am on a rant. Also when I did talk it would stop me more frequently to think about what I was saying; at least with my iPhone or iPad I can get in at least a minute or two’s worth of dictation before if it has to think about what I’m saying and as I mentioned the accuracy is very good. The dictation feature is something that I wanted to be able to do on my mobile device for some time, and it does make my life so much easier. I’m not having to type so much which means that it speeds up the process so I can do other things. It is a lazy way of getting your thoughts down onto paper but at the end of the day I am thankful to Apple for creating this resource and as I mentioned it just works; compared to Windows Phone and Android which again I have tried in the past, dictation takes more effort.

So it’s a reason why I continue to use iOS, simply because it’s an effortless ecosystem that works great for me. Naturally it’s not going to be the same for everybody, other people will prefer Android or Windows phone but for me personally Apple just fits my lifestyle.
