TECH NOW: Four gift ideas for guys who like gizmos

Jennifer Jolly, Special for USA TODAY

Seeking a gadget gift for the guy in your life? In this TECH NOW, here's a look at four guy-friendly gizmos.

Contour Roam2 Action Camera. This is what my dad, uncle, cousins and brother asked for this year — a waterproof, HD action camera like the ContourROAM2. It clips right onto a helmet, bike, fishing pole, golf club, dune-buggy — anywhere there's action.

This one comes in four colors, has a 270-degree rotating lens and lets you shoot in 1080p as well as 720p at 60 frames per second.

Seagate's GoFlex Satellite Mobile Wireless Storage Drive. You don't need an Internet connection or cables to enjoy and share your library of music and movies. This wireless drive has enough space for over 300 HD movies and is the ideal iPad accessory for those who enjoy carrying a library of movies with them wherever they go.

It has a range of 150 feet and the ability to stream video for up to three mobile devices.

Natatmo's Personal Weather Station. This weather station and iPhone/iPad app tracks and records temperature, humidity, air quality and more. Other functions include real-time notifications, average noise level assessment, detailed 7-day forecast and light indicator for reading CO2 levels. Price: Around $179

Switch, the LED light bulb that lasts 25 years. Here's one for the guy who has everything. It has liquid silicone inside the bulb — moving and "living" to spread the light evenly. The Switch60 LED lightbulb uses 80% less energy and last 25 times longer than an incandescent. It can saves consumers approximately $130 on an energy bill over the light bulb's lifetime depending on usage.
