Nintendo plans to make a big announcement about its upcoming Wii U console tomorrow, the company teased today.

In a YouTube video released this morning, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime said the company will hold a press conference at 10 a.m. EST on Sept. 13, which will include long-awaited details about the Wii U.

The video (below) was light on specific details about what will be revealed. Fils-Aime only said that the press conference will have "the latest news on Wii U." This will likely include pricing and the launch date of the system, along with a list of games available at launch.

The Wii U's release date was as Nov. 18 by Performance Designed Products (PDP), a video game accessory company. However, the company later denied that the leak and the presentation provided to Kotaku were accurate. Another recent from Video Product Distributors (VDP) lists the Wii U's launch as Nov. 11. These dates will likely be clarified tomorrow.

Nintendo already showed off for the Wii U at E3 2012, but it hasn't said which games will be available for the system at launch. The company is developing Nintendo Land, New Super Mario Bros. U, Pikmin 3, and other first-party titles, and several publishers are working on third-party games. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment is publishing Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition for the Wii U, Sega is releasing Aliens: Colonial Marines for the system, EA will release Mass Effect 3, and Ubisoft is working on an Assassin's Creed 3 port for the Wii U and a zombie game called ZombiU.
