Share

Today’s the day Apple is expected to announce the new iPhone, and we will be in San Francisco to report it live.

Technology writer Andrea Chang will be live-tweeting the event from the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. The media event is expected to start at 10 a.m. PDT, but we’ll be providing coverage all day.

The Tech Now blog will publish posts as news happens, so check back with us to see what’s new with the iPhone and how it stacks up against the competition.

We’ll also discuss all the news in a Google+ Hangout later in the day with staffers from other tech sites; they’ll provide their thoughts on the new Apple gadget.

As for the news itself, you can check out what we expect Apple to announce, and of course that includes the iPhone, which will likely get a larger screen than its predecessors, as well as LTE connectivity.

Apple also might announce a couple of updated iPods, including the iPod Touch, iPod Shuffle and the iPod Nano.

But don’t hold your breath for the iPad Mini. Apple likely won’t announce that device until early next month, if it does at all.
