What's My IQ? Pro is a very frustrating game that has misleading instructions, but does have a few humorous and clever levels.

What’s My IQ? Pro is not like any other IQ test out there. The various challenges are purposefully very tricky and misleading. Make sure to approach the game with the right mindset or it will just be frustrating and anger provoking. This app is definitely not for people who are serious about determining their IQ, but it can provide a little humor and amusement.

Players are presented with challenges and have 5 tries to complete each one. The instructions will often be ambiguous and vague. For instance, one challenge is to select the biggest number, but it is unclear if the instructions mean the highest number or the number that is physically the biggest on the screen.

After failing five times, players have the option to use a “cheat” to continue and try again at the same level, without having to revert to a checkpoint. Players start out with 20 cheats. 3 cheats can also be used to the view the solution to a challenge. There is no way to earn more cheats; rather players can buy more cheats in the in-game store.

There are 101 challenges in total. Thankfully, periodically a checkpoint is reached. Once you run out of cheats, after failing every challenge players have to start from the previous checkpoint. A neat feature is that players can login to Facebook to compare their IQ with their friends’ scores. The graphics are decent, but don’t amaze.

Overall this game is very frustrating and many challenges don’t make much sense. A few of the puzzles are clever, but many are just annoying. Expect a lot of puns and tricky instuctions. Players wanting to play, anyway, will need to approach it with an open mind and accept that some of the challenges just don’t make sense.
