Reports surfaced that Google may be considering selling the home business of its new Motorola Mobility subsidiary, which includes its set-top box business. The search giant has reportedly hired Barclays to help find a buyer for the division, which was profitable, unlike Motorola's handset business. Many tech heavyweights have been looking to expand their presence in the living room, including Google with its recent Nexus Q streaming orb for Android devices, adding some interesting context if Google was to sell the home segment.
