If you find yourself on the other side of the Irish Sea this September, you might be able to catch a free gig in London’s famous Roundhouse venue courtesy of the iTunes Festival. And, if not, you can always download the app and stream the events live.
Throughout the next month, the iconic Roundhouse music venue will be the spot for the iTunes Festival, playing host to 30 nights of live music from over 60 artists, including The Killers, Muse, Jessie J, Calvin Harris, Lana Del Rey, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Jack White, Hot Chip, Bat for Lashes, Example, Mumford & Sons, Elbow, One Direction, Deadmaus, Plan B, Ed Sheeran and Andrea Bocelli – clearly not short on variety.
Tickets to all events are free and music fans can apply to win them via the iTunes Festival app, which is also free.
And if they’re unsuccessful or can’t make it to any of the gigs, users can also watch the events live on any one of Apple’s mobile devices – the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch – or watch on a bigger screen by streaming wirelessly via AirPlay or by selecting iTunes Festival from the Apple TV menu.
The events will continue to be available for viewing for a limited time after the live broadcast.
