Feeding this hungry fox is no easy feat, but thankfully it is a fun one! A commendable game - definitely something that players will want on the home screen.

The name Chillingo may sound familiar, maybe because they are the developers of Cut the Rope, one of the most addictive games on the App Store! Sly Fox is the newest offering from Chillingo and it takes a radically different approach to gaming than anything we've seen from them before - but does it work?

The main goal of Sly Fox is to try and feed a very hungry fox - but lets be honest, it's never that simple! Sly Fox will have players swinging the fox around like a ragdoll, avoiding obstacles and getting power ups all in the name of ensuring that Sly Fox doesn't go hungry.

Thankfully, the developers have put a lot of effort into ensuring that this game doesn't become repetitive. For example, in certain levels players might find themselves being timed, or possibly diving for hens. In others, players will be simply searching for stars. Throughout the game, players find that at certain times obstacles get in the way - but fret not, players have power-ups at their side to clear the path and ensure they get Sly Fox his meal in no time!

Gamers can control the fox in two ways, by utilizing your device's accelerometer or by activating the on-screen controls. Players may find that whilst both of these controls are very well implemented, using the accelerometer makes the game feel a bit more fun. The in-game graphics are very striking and colorful, making playing this game not only fun but visually appealing as well. It also does a really great job at ensuring that players don't get bored of the game. Each level differs greatly from ones that players previously encountered. Gameplay-wise, players might find that they really struggle to find fault with the game, it has a very unique style, a very fun atmosphere to play and most importantly, it's very easy to play.

Some players may find that the accelerometer controls are a bit finicky at times, but with a bit of getting used to, players will be swooping for hens and getting stars like a pro! Of course, there's always the option of the joystick controls if players are really struggling with the accelerometer.

Overall, Sly Fox is most definitely a game that people could be playing on their next commute. It has the kind of pick-up-and-play gameplay that so many other games strive to achieve, but few perfect. Sly Fox is definitely a game that deserves a place on the homescreen.
