Das Keyboard has been a popular name among mechanical keyboard enthusiasts and last month they started shipping their first Mac-specific model. The keyboard is a full 104-key model with number pad. The keyboard also offers mac-specific keys for not only Command key combos, but also music playback, volume, brightness, and a sleep button that can be configured. The keyboard also functions as a USB 2.0 hub, actually offering a second USB plug for your computer to provide 2 additional ports on the desktop.

Das Keyboards feature Cherry MX blue key switches, which provide a satisfying click and slight tactile feedback.

The design of the keyboard is a glossy piano black that gives it a sleek look. The font on the keys are atypical and lower case, which some may like or not. Beyond that, the keyboard features sculpted keys and generally a pretty light typing touch which should aid in typing speed.
