Clearing 2013 app from the Telegraph now live

The UK's only Clearing app, which enables students to search for live course vacancies at hundreds of universities and colleges, is now available to download free from iTunes and Google Play.

Find vacancies on higher education courses through our Clearing 2013 app for iPhone and Android.

As Ucas's exclusive media partner for clearing, the Telegraph has launched its unique Clearing 2013 app.

Available to download now for smartphone and tablet devices, the app will enable students to search for clearing places on our live Ucas database and is available now for Clearing listings, which will be updated hourly by Ucas.

The app, new and improved for 2013, enables students to search for clearing places by the course (specific course name or Ucas code), institution or location they are interested in.

Results will then be shown with alphabetical filters to help you review them more easily. Each results shows the name of the institution offering the course, the institution code, the course titles and the course code. Click on the result to see more details.

On the course detail page you can check the length, type and level of the course to ensure it's right for you.

Clicking on the telephone number will call directly through to the Clearing Department at the instutition.

Search options are available for both UK/EU applicants and international applicants, for whom different places may be available.

The app also offers the latest news, advice and Twitter conversations related to clearing, as well as exclusive promotions including the chance to win £250 of Selfridges vouchers.
