We told you on Friday that True Axis’ fantastic stunt racing/platformer hybrid Jet Car Stunts ($1.99) would finally be coming to the big screen of the iPad. Unfortunately, at that time, any sort of iPad screens or video was under wraps, so you really just had to get by using your imagination. However, True Axis has released a quick hands-on video with the iPad version of Jet Car Stunts, and it’s looking really great.

One thing that doesn’t quite come across in a YouTube video is just how rock solid the game looks at 60 frames per second, as well as how sharp it looks on the new iPad’s Retina Display. Hopefully it won’t be too much longer until this update is submitted, and we’ll continue to keep our ears to the ground for new information about Jet Car Stunts 2 and True Axis’ upcoming skateboarding game True Skate.
