3Dconnexion News

Recently the super 3D mouse company known as 3Dconnexion has released some positive news. Besides some case studies (more on that in a second) back in June they announced that their lineup of 3D mice were certified for support of Autodesk Inventor 2013, including Autodesk Inventor Professional. This means engineers can utilize the precision 3D mice while developing their product designs.

“3Dconnexion support in Autodesk Inventor 2013 significantly enhances the design process by providing a faster and easier way to position 3D content while simultaneously accessing important application functions and editing tools with the standard mouse.” said Antonio Pascucci, vice president of products, 3Dconnexion.

In other news 3Dconnexion has announced a case study focused on London-based Framework Creative, a firm which specializes in visualization, spatial, interior and product design, providing a range of services from conceptual level through to detailed design. Owner Roddy Robertson talks about his use of SpaceMouse Pro and SpaceNavigator with Autodesk 3ds Max 2012 and Adobe CS5. You can read the full case study here.
