We’ve seen iPads used as magic tricks before, but being combined to be used as a giant billboard? That’s something new and that’s what a couple of people have decided to do. They have taken several iPads, joined them up to created what they’re calling the iPad Jumboltron. Describing the project, Nick Bolt was quoted as saying, “The basic idea of using a ton of phones or tablets to display a single image or video isn’t new, but all of a sudden there are lot more of us with tablets. We’d like to gather to make our own messages before advertisers get hip to the idea and do it on a much larger scale than we can.” Granted the number of iPads used in the video isn’t much, but they are planning on hosting more Jumboltron parties in the future, so if you’d like to sign up or learn more, you can pop on over to their website for the details. In the meantime to get an idea of what they’re trying to achieve with their project, check out the video above.
