Our favorite little OS X utility, Alfred, has been updated to version 1.2 in the Mac App Store today, bringing a selection of handy improvements. Chief among them is the new ability to drag items right out of your search results and into Finder folders, emails, or graphics applications. We've just given that feature a spin and it's the sort of supremely logical extension of functionality that makes you wonder how you ever lived without it — which is basically Alfred's entire raison d'être. There's also new support for displaying large text, an overhaul to the file searching algorithm, and a pair of new color themes, all for the low, low price of nothing at all. Download the latest version from the Mac App Store (link below), or visit the company's website to purchase the Powerpack, which throws in even more extras.
