Another Monty Python app for iOS is now available, bringing the highlights of the first season of Monty Python's Flying Circus to the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. The app offers 22 classic sketches from the series, including classics like the "Dead Parrot" sketch and "The Lumberjack Song," along with commentary from some of the team on the inspiration and filming of each of the scenes. There's also an app signing mode — Brits will be able to visit the Regent Street store this Thursday, May 3rd, and get Terry Gilliam, Terry Jones, and Michael Palin to sign their autographs inside the app.

Other apps have focused on the comedy troupe's surreal world before now: The Holy Book of Days released last month acts as a comprehensive companion to The Holy Grail, while Cow Tossing gave a Python twist on Angry Birds. However, Python Bytes is the first app to explore the team's origins and their 1969 BBC TV series. It's available now from the App Store for $2.99, with apps for seasons 2 and 3 following on the 3rd and 10th of May respectively.
