Cut the Rope, named the best iPhone/iPod touch game of 2011 by many, has received a new update. Version 1.7 includes a number of nice features that make the game better than ever. Cut the Rope stars Om Nom, an adorable little monster that is in constant need of food. Your job is to cut the ropes, catch the stars, and avoid the game’s many pitfalls. First released by Chillingo in October 2010, the app has won an Apple Design Award, named best iPhone game by IGN, and is the first iOS game to win a BAFTA award. Cut the Rope Version 1.7 includes:
  • New DJ Box with 25 levels featuring spinning vinyl records
  • New hidden Om Nom drawing to collect
  • New leaderboard and achievements
  • Various optimizations and improvements
In total, the game now has 250 levels with 10 level boxes. Cut the Rope ($0.99) and Cut the Rope HD for iPad ($1.99) are available now in the App Store.
