A gentle nudge towards establishing some better habits. It could do with some more features though.

As a child, my parents would encourage me to do chores and eat well by giving me a star each time I completed one. I don't remember there ever actually being a prize at the end but there was something exhilarating about gaining a star for my good work. You're On! offers that same idea for adults, by rewarding users with points for completing positive steps in their life. It's free and, although pretty basic, is still worth a look for the stat obsessed.

Set up takes seconds with signing up via a Facebook account recommended, and straight away users can be motivated. You're On! offers a selection of popular challenges such as "don't eat after 8pm" or "exercise every day" then encourages the user to set themselves daily challenges.

Each activity is rated a set number of points depending on how challenging they are and it doesn't take long to see the point tally shoot up on a productive day. Besides the popular challenges, it's easy enough to create personal challenges although point assignment seems to be restricted to 7 points. Something that could do with adjustment.

The drive behind You're On! is the encouragement it brings through the leaderboards section. Encourage friends to sign up and users can race each other towards a better life of exercising regularly, eating well and sleeping properly. Friends can also challenge each other with certain tasks. Alone, it's a bit of a lonely effort as there are no universal leaderboards to participate in.

You're On! is a clever idea but I'd have liked to have seen more to it. Something like a levelling up system as used by apps like Fleetly and sites like Fitocracy would have been great for motivation, much the same as universal or country wide leaderboards would have. In its basic form however, You're On! is only going to appeal to the very stat obsessed person or those who can get a group of friends signed up to it.
