PC Magazine Launches iPad Edition

-Paid Circulation Tops 50,000 on Zinio, Nook, Reader and Kindle-

NEW YORK--()--Ziff Davis, Inc., one of the nation’s leading technology media companies, announced that PC Magazine® will be available today in the iPad® App Store℠ and Apple® Newsstand. Every month, the iPad edition of PC Magazine will contain more than 40 articles, reviews and features about the latest technology; interactive elements such as 360-degree views of products; small file sizes to allow for quick downloading; and no advertising whatsoever.

“Because we ceased the print publication a few years ago and shifted purely to the Web, we were able to design an iPad edition from scratch with the iPad consumer in mind,” said Dan Costa, Editor-in-Chief, Ziff Davis. “We know consumers love rich content, but hate long download times. The April issue is only 70 MB and the exclusion of advertising is another great benefit to readers.”

PC Magazine’s other digital editions, which are available on Zinio®, Nook®, Kindle® and the Sony® Reader™, now have over 50,000 paid circulation, making it one of the most successful digital publications in the magazine industry. Those versions of PC Magazine have also been redesigned with the April 2012 issue.

The PC Magazine app for the iPad will be free to download and will include a free sample issue. The April issue is available for $3.99 and consumers can also choose two subscription options: monthly at $1.99 or annually at $19.99.
