Wahwah.fm Turns Your iPhone Into a Broadcasting Radio Station

iOS: Ever wanted to start your own radio station, but didn't want to go through all the trouble of actually licensing music or really working for it? Wahwah.fm is a an iPhone app that pulls your pre-existing music library from your phone and allows you to broadcast it to the world.

Wahwah.fm is a bit similar to the previously mentioned Turntable.fm with the exception that the station you create is all yours. Once you set up a few initial things you can start following other users to listen to their stations or start broadcasting yourself. If you have a large music library, the app takes a really long time to pull everything in, but once it does, it works like a charm.

You can add songs to a playlist with a swipe or a tap. Hit play and it starts broadcasting your music. You can set it up with permissions to use your location if you like. That way you can give all your neighbors a taste of your music without cranking up the stereo in your house. Alternately, you can skip the location part and just broadcast from nowhere. Wahwah.fm is a free download in the iTunes App store. Hit the link to check it out and start broadcasting your own station.
