Apple released Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 3.10 on Wednesday, an update that adds support for eight new cameras to Aperture 3.0 and iPhoto ‘11.

RAW is a file format used in digital cameras that is used to capture unprocessed images, and Apple adds support for individual cameras as they come out. All of the cameras below have been announced in recent weeks.
The eight cameras are:
- Canon PowerShot G1 X
- Nikon D4
- Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GX1
- Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ35
- Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ38
- Samsung NX200
- Sony Alpha NEX-7
- Sony NEX-VG20
The update is a 7.8MB download through Software Update and a 7.5MB download from Apple’s download site.
