Withings ships iOS baby monitor


The Smart Baby Monitor from Withings started shipping this week. The monitor connects to an iOS device either via 3G, WiFi, or Bluetooth. The camera itself can connect to your home network via Ethernet or WiFi.

The monitor features a 3 MP camera with a wide angle lens and night vision. The camera has a 4x zoom and also moves around. The system also has a two way microphone to monitor and interact with your kids, pets, or whatever. Users can also play music in the room with the ability to change songs from the iOS device. Lastly, the camera has sensors for motion, sound, temperature, and humidity.

The Smart Baby Monitor has a list price $299, and the app is available via the iTunes store.
