iFrogz NearField Audio amplifies your mobile device speaker

ZAGG formally announced the iFrogz Boost NearField Audio speaker this week. The speaker amplifies a nearby speaker without connecting any wires or needing a wireless link. The device features a 2 watt speaker and measures about 3 x 5 inches and an inch thick. It runs on three AA batteries, which should provide up to 15 hours of playback. The batteries also should offer up to 6 month stand-by. Alliteratively, the speaker can be powered by a micro USB cord.

The Boost just needs to be near an playing speaker to amplify the sound. The speaker works on any mobile device such as an iPhone or iPod. I got to check this out and pretty interesting alternative to the small mobile speakers.

The Boost has a retail price of $39.99.
