Woz returns to Oz

By

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak is making a return trip to Australia. But if you want to see him, it's not going to be cheap.

As far as iTWire is aware, the last time Steve Wozniak visited Australia was in mid-2011, when he spoke at a business conference in Queensland. It seems that it's becoming a habit.

The man who handled the technical design of Apple's early computers is making a return trip for a series of events organised by the American Chamber of Commerce in Australia. He will speak on 'The Apple Story: disruptive innovation, inspiration and entrepreneurial wizardry' at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre on May 11, the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre on May 14, and the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on May 16.

But tickets don't come cheap. 'Early bird' prices are $895 (or $8500 for a table of ten), and the full rate is $1095 or $10,400 for a table.

The events are scheduled to run for four hours. If you have the dosh or if you are the beneficiary of corporate largesse, it's said that Woz puts on a good show.

It is not known if Mr Wozniak plans any other public engagements during his visit.
