LAS VEGAS — Strap on these goofy goggles and you can videotape your adventures under the sea with your iPhone.
Aryca, a Chinese company, modified a pair of swimming goggles to include a watertight chamber that encloses an iPhone. The polycarbonate chamber contains a soft membrane and an adjustable mount to prevent water from getting into the case.
“People just can’t seem to get away from their iPhones, so we made this accessory so you can go diving with it,” said Kenneth Yu, chief executive of Aryca.
Mr. Yu said the accessory could keep an iPhone dry as deep as 100 feet. He said the goggles, which cost $40, will be available in the United States soon.
