We've seen a ton of widgets for mounting your phone on the handlebars of your bike, but I like the Mounty because it looks so handy. The rubber iPhone case is not only stretchable (so you can fit in non-giant Android phones too) but attaches and detaches so easily that you can use it pretty much anywhere.

A bike-mounted phone is great, for GPS, maps, tracking, music and even calls. But what about mounting it on the handlebar of a pram or stroller? Or the grip of a shopping cart, complete with handy shopping list app at the ready?

The Mounty manages this thanks to a rubber strap that wraps around a bar and hooks back onto itself. No screws, no tools, nothing to fall off and lose. If you have ever used a silicone Knog bike light, you'll know that this method is both fast and secure.

The case will soon be launched on Kickstarter by the inventor Eleanor Seabourne, for a price yet to be announced. In the meantime you can go check out the Mounty site and read the FAQs while you dig out your credit card.
