We have just been informed by Zykloid software, via Twitter, that their excellent Posterino has been updated to version 2.5.3 with the following changes and fixes:

  • Added 'file name' metadata property to the metadata layer.
  • Added online help article on collecting activity data. Solved a problem that could lead to loss of text attributes when a text object is scaled.
  • Newly created text objects are now style-locked by default to prevent assigning frames or filters to them.

The previous update (Revision 1665 - 2011-12-14) to Version 2.5.2 made the following improvements:

  • Added Spanish and Japanese language support for the calendar feature. Solved a problem that could result in a white hairline around a rendered document. This effect has been visible on documents with colored background.
  • Solved a newsletter subscription problem.

For the previous revision to Version 2.5.1 (Revision 1664 - 2011-12-06) the following were also reported:

  • Solved the feedback authentication problem by implementing a dynamic feedback lookup along with a fallback system.
  • Ensured that the 'Blank' template category is the first in the individual categories list.
  • Added German language support for the calendar feature.

We had reported (12 December) on eXtensions about the major update to Posterino bringing it to Version 2.5 and adding the significant new feature of the calendar.
