HP plans on showing off several business-oriented display solutions a this year's Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which include a docking station and a budget-line of LED monitors.

The HP Compaq L2311c is a 23-inch LED monitor that acts as a laptop docking station—no proprietary dock needed. This business solution is great for shared working areas, perhaps for freelancers or reporters who aren't in the office often enough to warrant their own cube. This monitor acts as a permanent hub, providing Ethernet connectivity (via the monitor's wired Gigabit Ethernet jack), a secondary display, and 720p HD Webcam for video conferencing, all by plugging in a USB cable from the L2311c to your laptop. The display has height, tilt, swivel, and pivot adjustability options and sports two USB 2.0, two USB 3.0, an audio and mic jack, and VGA connectivity for a secondary display.

The Compaq L2311c is slated for release in January and has a starting price of $319.

The LV1911 and LV2011 are HP's 18.5- and 20-inch backlit LED monitors, with a 200-nitt brightness. While not as advanced as the Compaq L2311c, these displays provide a simple budget solution for small and medium businesses. The LV1911 has a 1,366-by-768 resolution and the LV2011 has a more detailed 1,600-by-900 resolution, both of which are fine for day-to-day writing and editing. However, those working with video and photos might want to splurge on a display that supports full 1080p HD. Both monitors only support a VGA video input.

The LV1911 is slated for release in March for $125. The LV2011 is slated for an earlier February release date for a starting price of $135.
