The Mac Store Launches 21 Macs in 21 Days, giving Holiday shoppers 21 chances to win an Apple MacBook Air.

Lake Oswego, OR, December 04, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Mac Store, The Northwest’s largest and locally owned Apple reseller, is excited to announce 21 Macs in 21 Days– a promotion during which they’ll be giving away 21 MacBook Air computers to 21 different lucky people.

To enter, individuals are encouraged to visit any Mac Store location from December 1, 2011 through December 21, 2011. Once at the store, customers can simply click on the '21 Macs' icon on any one of the display machines and then enter their contact information. Drawings are held daily so individuals could have up to 21 chances to win. The first winner will be announced on December 2nd and the last on December 22nd.

Apple updated the MacBook Air with next generation processors, high-speed Thunderbolt I/O technology, a backlit keyboard, and Mac OS X Lion. The 11in. prize model boasts twice the performance as previous generations, has 1.6 GHz, Dual-Core Intel Core i5, 2GB SD Ram, 64GB Flash Storage, Bluetooth 4.0, two USB ports, Thunderbolt port, and Intel HD Graphics 3000 Processor with 256MB SD Ram shared with the main memory. Weighing in at only 2.38 lbs, this high-performance laptop packs a punch.

“We wanted to launch a fun promotion with a substantial reward that would keep customers engaged throughout the holiday season,” said Erick Laabs, Vice President of The Mac Stores. “The new MacBook Air computers are extremely popular, and we love the idea of giving a bunch of them away.”

The Mac Store opened its first location in 1978 and has grown to ten locations in the Northwest, catapulting them to the status of the largest Apple Specialist in the country. Providing quality customer service and the full line of Apple products, they specialize in the newest Mac computers, expert Mac help, as well as maintaining one of the largest inventories of used Macs anywhere. The Mac Store is known for a very popular Mac trade-in program, where customers can trade in their old computer(s) and get credit toward a new Mac or anything else they sell right on the spot. The ten retail stores range from Eugene, Corvallis, Salem and Portland all the way up to the Seattle area. Their latest store recently opened in the Capitol Mall in Olympia.

“As a company we’re always looking for new and exciting things to do in our stores,” said Kevin Anderson, President and CEO. “Being locally owned, we love the idea of giving back to the communities, and in this case, providing a whole slew of free Macintosh computers is really fun for us.”
