Microsoft recently opened a new store in Taiwan. The company opened a flagship Surface store last week, where it will be selling all the latest Surface devices, including the Surface Book 2, Surface Laptop, and Surface Studio.
The company’s new store in Taiwan at the Xinyi business district joins its other 9 international stores, with 5 in Japan, one in Australia, China, and Singapore. Redmond is also building a flagship Microsoft Store in London’s Regent Street. Along with the Surface devices, Microsoft is also showcasing its Xbox consoles, as well as accessories like the Microsoft Arc. Touch Mouse, Surface Type Covers, and more.

Microsoft doesn’t have a good retail presence outside of the United States, unlike Apple. The company has a bunch of stores throughout the United States, but it is yet to open any stores in other countries like the United Kingdom, and countries in Europe. It’s interesting to see Microsoft opening a store in Taiwan out of all the countries, but the firm has been selling its Surface devices in the country for years and says sales of its device grew by 10-20%.
