AMD Ryzen 5 2500X Benchmarked Ahead Of Its Official Launch, Full Specs Revealed

Specs for both Ryzen 3 2300X and 2500X have been spotted and now the AMD Ryzen 5 2500X has been benchmarked ahead of its official reveal and launch.

The AMD Ryzen 3 2300X and Ryzen 5 2500X have been popping up over the internet for quite some time while AMD is not talking about them. However, specs for both of these CPUs have been spotted and now the AMD Ryzen 5 2500X has been benchmarked ahead of its official reveal and launch.

The benchmarks for the AMD Ryzen 5 2500X were done by XFastest along with the benchmarks for the Ryzen 3 2300X. The benchmarks for Ryzen 3 2300X popped up just a while ago so we will be focusing on the benchmarks for the AMD Ryzen 5 2500X.

According to the benchmarks, the AMD Ryzen 5 2500X is 4 core/ 8 thread CPU with a base clock of around 3.99 GHz and 8 MB of L3 cache.

However, for the benchmarks, the Ryzen 5 2500X was overclocked. You can check out the benchmark results for the Ryzen 5 2500X in the images below.

As we mentioned earlier that benchmarks for the Ryzen 3 2300X also made their way online. The benchmarks also revealed the specs for the CPU and according to them, the Ryzen 3 2300X features a base clock of 3.50 GHz and a boost clock of around 4 GHz.

Speaking of AMD, while the company has announced its 2nd-gen Threadripper CPU but, AMD is yet to reveal it and seems like the AMD will be revealing the Threadripper 2990X in partnership with Ferrari.

AMD has reportedly partnered with Ferrari for the reveal event of 2nd-gen Ryzen Threadripper 2990X and will be hosting the event at Maranello in Northern Italy.

Not only that, the specs for the Threadripper 2990X have also been leaked which suggests that the 32 core and 64 threads CPU will feature 3 GHz base clock and a boost clock of 4 GHz.

Furthermore, the processor features 3MB L1 Cache, 16MB L2 Cache and 64MB L3 Cache along with XFR support which will give up to 200MHz of boost to the CPU’s clock speed.

Along with revealing the specs for the 2nd-gen Threadripper 2990X, the leaks also suggest that AMD has canceled 16-core 2950X and 24-core 2970X. The reason for the cancelation was Intel announcing the 28-core Core X CPU.
