While we get closer and closer to Computex 2018 with each passing day we are getting leaks and rumors regarding what we can expect to see. This is not something unusual and we start getting these reports and rumors around the same time each year. The following is what you can expect to see from AMD and Nvidia at Computex 2018.

AMD

AMD has had a lot of success with AMD Ryzen series of CPUs as well as the newly released AMD Ryzen 2 series. At Computex 2018 we could get to see what AMD has in store for the future of AMD Zen architecture and we could also get the release of AMD Threadripper 2nd generation. We have been getting leaks regarding these upcoming chips, so it is very likely the case. It is safe to say that there will be a CPU roadmap or so.

If we are going to see a CPU roadmap then chances are that we are going to learn about what AMD Zen 2 architecture has to offer and what kind of performance boost we can expect to see as compared to AMD Zen and Zen+.

Nvidia

Nvidia has been very successful with Pascal ever since the release and we are expecting more information regarding Nvidia Volta at Computex 2018. The highlight of the event should be the Nvidia GTX 1180 if it is to be announced. Other than that you can expect to see some announcements regarding AI, machine learning and all kinds of other applications for Nvidia technology.

There has been confusion regarding the naming of the upcoming graphics cards, whether they are going to be called Turing or Ampere but the wait is not long. Computex 2018 is shaping up to be an impressive event provided that we get some of the things that we are expecting to see. But for now all that we can do it wait and see.
